Pi'lo studio shoot with Heather

June 13, 2017

One of my favourite shoots that took place was this one with Pi'lo studio in the heart of Toronto. I met with Heather, the owner and creator of Pi'lo studio, whose products are sold on Etsy. Her items are made from 100% linen...which is an obsession I developed early this year. Of course I was dancing with joy when I received Heather's OK to visit!

Here are some highlights from the visit.

The numerous stacks of linen coupled with spools of thread pulled my heart right in. Added bonus to this, was the fact that Heather's home studio used to be an old sausage factory. She converted this into her customized studio, and the abundant light is thanks to a skylite that she had put in.

Fine, simple and crips details, and a very calm atmosphere made this studio such a joy to visit. While I was there, Heather packaged a few items and offered me tea. Even her tea setup was eye candy!

To be honest, I was quite nervous to visit Heather. Her work is impeccable, and everything about her business is impressive. As an entrepreneur myself, I couldn't wait to meet her despite my nervousness.

As it turned out, Heather was very sweet, calm, and generous. We had a LOT to talk about, including travelling, business, arts, starting a family, pets, and more.

Thank you Heather for this magical time in your studio and meeting you. Everything about it was perfection!
