It's been a while since I wrote a post. Life can get in the way of certain things I wish to do more of. Like photography and blogging.
So it was lovely that I had the opportunity last month to leave my daytime work 1 hour early and meet with Sonia at Scarborough Bluff's Park for a quick, refreshing photo shoot.
Sweet Sonia was a joy to photography. At first a little shy (as are most people in front of the camera), but then she warmed up as we got to chat more and know a little more about each other.
Sonia's smile is so sweet and full of happiness. She came across as a young woman who wanted to live a free, beautiful, and fulfilling life. Being around her, I felt calm and joyous. It was very easy to capture little moments of her being genuinely herself.
Since we met up on a weekday, and it was still just slightly chilly, there weren't too many people at Scarborough Bluff's Park, which was nice to walk around and not feel overly crowded. We took advantage of the free range and made use of the gorgeous space that the Park had to offer. We trekked through tons of muddy spots to get to where we wanted, and in the end, it was worth it.
Thank you Sonia for this shoot - I loved the serenity of it all, and especially meeting you.
